The short version…  

• I have been studying and practicing shamanism since 1996
• Most of my shamanic training has been with the Foundation of Shamanic Studies and Sandra Ingerman. 
• I am a licensed minister for the Circle of the Sacred Earth, specific for shamanic practitioners. 
• I am a clinical intern for  Traditional 5 Element Acupuncture  and am scheduling patients on Mondays and Fridays for treatment. 
• My mission as a holistic healer is to create a practice that brings the body, mind, and spirit into harmony using 5 element acupuncture, shamanic healing arts, herbs, nutrition, counseling, meditation, and education. 

• I have recovered and maintain a long term chronic illness and understand the life transforming journey one must go through in order to live beyond it.   
• I have a Master’s degree in Plant and Soil science, studying medicinal plant research and teach at the collegiate level

• I am originally from Kentucky and now reside in the Pacific Northwest just north of Seattle, Washington

• I study and practice meditation, Qi Gong, yoga, and breath work  

• I am happiest in the woods and the water.   

   

   
 

The longer story….  

I have been studying and practicing Shamanic spiritual techniques since it discovered me in the remote jungles of the Amazon rain forest in 1996.  Shamanism taught me how to connect to spirit and unlock the inherent wisdom that lies in the depths of our souls.  Spirit continues to teach me how to interpret my intuitive voice and the lessons found in nature.  It has also served as a guide and healing tool for those in need.  I consider this to be one of the greatest gifts of my life.  I have been studying and practicing with various shamans ever since.   

Much of my course work has been through the Foundation of Shamanic Studies with Michael Harner via Dana Robinson and Sandra Ingerman.  Although I will further my shamanic practice throughout my life, I have discovered that the spirits and nature truly are our greatest teachers.  I have learned much from just quieting, observing, and listening to this world and the world within our heart.  Part of the intuitive spiritual counseling will help you to listen to your heart.   

I am a clinical intern of Traditional 5 Element Acupuncture.  I am currently seeing patients as a student intern at Wu Hsing Tao Clinic.  As a licensed acupuncturist I will be able to help treat a myriad of dis-ease to help bring a patient into balance.  It resonates with my shamanic spirit and I am able to truly use the gifts God gave me to help look at a patient as a unique being with their own unique body, mind, and spirit.  This system of medicine helps you to get back to the truest sense of balance and can help with many ailments on many levels.    

I have experienced firsthand what it means to live with a chronic illness.  I understand the feeling of helplessness, isolation, and the emotions that come with an unexpected shift in your life.  It has brought me a great sense of compassion for our fallibility.     

My mission as a holistic healer is to create a healing house where people can come and quiet themselves enough so they can figure out what it is that they need to do to get better in body, mind, and spirit.  I truly believe that the deepest healing lies within and it is ultimately up to the patient how far they want to go to be balanced, whole, and healed.  I offer to you now shamanic spiritual counseling, spiritual healing, and 5 element acupuncture to help bring balance to the whole you.    Ultimately our body inherently knows what we need for our healing journey. 

I am here to help support you on that path.  As I continue to grow as the compassionate healer I was born to be, I embrace this journey and look forward to meeting you on this road of life we walk.  Until that time comes, I will continue to stay connected to spirit, allow the journey to unfold and continue to serve you.  I am here to help you listen to your soul and bring about deep healing and change to propel you into the light and love of this magnificent universe.
